Ilorin based Kwara United stung Abia Warriors at home as the both sides locked horns in one of Matchday Twelve (12) fixture at the Kwara United Stadium complex.

The composed Harmony boys were the first to make a statement in the highly explosive encounter as their effort on goal in the first minute of the game resulted to a corner kick which was neatly cleared by Abia Warriors Innocent Gabriel.

Kwara United midfield Maestro Ozor Philip bossed the middle of the park as he roved and distributed passes but his side lacked cutting edge upfront as Abia Warriors trio of Austin Obaroakpo, Parfait Jean and Innocent Gabriel kept it solid at the backline to ensure level scoreline.

Adah Stephen doubled his side lead at the 88th minute to send the spectators into wild jubilation as he shot on goal deflected off Obaroakpo boot to beat goalkeeper Charles Tambe in goal for Abia Warriors.

The Umuahia Warlords tried all best to reduce the deficit but it all turned a ding dong affair between the two sides till the centre Referee signalled end of proceedings.
