NPFL: Lobi Stars unveil Ogunbote

Ahead of the new league season, Nigeria Professional League side Lobi Stars on Monday unveiled Gbenga Ogunbote as their new head coach.

Former League Champion lost the their coach Solomon Ogbeide to sudden death last season and the club finished the season using assistant coach as the chief coach .

Ogunbote spent last season with Enugu Rangers helping the club to pick continental ticket but left the club at the expiration of his contract.

The Deputy Governor of Benue State Engr Benson Abounu officially unveils Coach Gbenga Ogunbote as the new technical adviser of Lobi stars football club of Markudi on Monday evening with the task of returning the club to the continent.

Apart from Enugu Rangers, Ogunbote has handled Enyimba International, Shooting Stars, Sunshine Stars and Giwa FC of Jos.
