By Sampson Adedeji
Head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club Kwara United Abdulahi Biffo has seen positive in his team defeat to Rivers United in the match day 3 of the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Rivers United at the Adokie Amaisimaka stadium in Port-Harcourt on Sunday walloped Afonja Warrior 3-0 to go top of the table.
Kwara United started the season on a sound note securing a 0-2 win over Plateau United At the new Jos stadium in the match day one.
Biffo said after the game that the boys will have to take every game seriously if they wanted to achieve much this season.
"It is a big lesson for us. Winning the first match does not make us special, so I think the boys will now know that we have to take every game seriously," he said.
Akwa United will be the guest of Kwara United in the match day 4 as the Afonja Warrior look to bounce back.
