NPFL: Maikaba Blames Weather Over Defeat To Nasarawa United

Head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club Plateau United Abdul Maikaba has blamed the weather over his team defeat to Nasarawa United, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The Lafia based team on Sunday defeated former champion Plateau United 2-0 in the match day 27 of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Maikaba who hailed the performance of the two teams congratulate host for their victory while he also emphasis their target of getting top four position.
"The two teams played very well, but I congratulate Nasarawa United for getting the three points at stake.
We tried our best, most especially in the first half, but I believe the weather run my boys down.
They scored the first goal against the run of play, the second through a penalty, we congratulate them & wish them the very best, on our side, we will keep pushing to see whether we can finish in top four or top five at the end of the campaign, that is our 'FOCUS' & 'TARGET'," he said through his social media handle.
