By Omolagba Oluwayemi
Nasarawa United forward, Ikenna Ofor who scored the only goal in the North Central derby between Nasarawa United and Lobi Stars said he's happy to be the match winner, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The skillful wing-forward who won the Man of The Match following his 49th minutes tapped of Silas Nwankwo's header to give the Solid Miners the much needed winner was happy to score the lone goal.
"I feel very much happy because it's not easy and again scoring in a derby like this and becoming the king of the match is not easy so I give glory to God," he said.
"Every match has it's own plan and we've gotten the home match, now we'll go back and plan for the next match which is Sunshine Stars and by the grace of God, we will try our possible best to see that we come out with something." he said when asked about their preparation for Sunshine Stars.
"I celebrated the way I did after scoring the goal in the derby because the coach have always corrected me always to make that kind of run in the training, so immediately I saw the ball with Silas, I moved and I saw the ball close to me and I scored.
"I was very happy because I worked on the correction and did it perfectly today and I know the coach will be very happy too."
"I will love to keep the momentum for as long as I can," was his conclusion.
