NPFL: MFM outclass Kwara United, Rivers United hold Niger Tornadoes, as Abia Warriors lose

Lagos club side MFM came back from last week defeat following their opening 2-0 loss away to Enyimba Of Aba on matchday-oneof the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) to outclass Kwara United 2-0 at the Agege Stadium, on Wednesday .
An own goal from Segun Alebiosu put the Olukoya Boys upfront three minutes into the second half. Adeniji Kabiru doubled the lead at 75th minute of the play.
Heartland FC trounce 10-man Plateau United 3-0 to record their first win of the season.
Efe Yarhere broke the deadlock before a brace from Chinonso Okonkwo sealed a comfortable win for Heartland in Owerri.
In Nnewi, Chijioke Alaekwe scored in additional time to put FC Ifeanyi Ubah heads upfront with 1-0 home win over Nasarawa United.
In Minna, Ossy Martins’ strike at 69th minute earning a Rivers United a spoil after Eric Frimpong had scored for Niger Tornadoes nine minutes earlier.
Eric Frimpong puts Ikon Allah Boys up front with a brilliant strike , bulging out from the staunch defenders.
In Umuahia, Go Round of Omoku recorded first win of the season outsmarting Abia Warriors 2-1.
Ololade Sadiq’s brilliant strike at 37th minute gave Go Round the lead in Umuahia, but Emeka Isaac converted via spot kick to level terms for Ochendo Boys in the 68th minute.
Emmanuel Ugwu scored in added tme to hand Go Round FC their first away win
of the season.
