  NPFL MD 11 Wrap: Kwara United Suffers Defeat As MFM FC End Seven Winless Run By Omolagba Oluwayemi Kwara United failed in their quest to extend their lead on this summit as they fell by a lone goal to Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu BSNSport.com.ng reports. The Harmony Boys who had been on a run of eight games without defeat in the league fell behind in the 30th minute when Chiamaka Madu's headed attempt beats GK Aiyenugba. They came close to equalising on the stroke of half-time but Stephen Jude's long range effort was denied by the crossbar. MFM FC bounced back from recent disappointment of seven winless run in the league with a 2-0 win over rock bottom side, Adamawa United. Two first half goals from Najeem Adeyinka (21') and Oladapo Alabi (24') gave the Olukoya Boys their third win of the season. Abia Warriors came from a goal down to whip Warri Wolves 4-1 at the Okigwe Township Stadium. The Imama Amapakabo led side fell behind in the third minute to Sunday Williams goal but responded with four goals, two in each half although they could have gone behind again after they equalised but the woodwork came to their rescue. Chukwuemeka Obioma (23’), Godwin Obaje (45+4’, 66’,) and Paul Samson (81’) scored for Abia Warriors. Sadeeq Yusuf 71st minute penalty cancelled out Pascal Eze's 16th minute opener as Sunshine Stars and Heartland FC played a 1-1 draw at the Akure Township Stadium. The Owena Waves are now four games without a win and visits Kaduna next where they will play Kano Pillars. Meanwhile Kano Pillars fell 1-0 to Lobi Stars in Markurdi. Austin Ogunye scored as early as the fifth minute. Faisal Ahmed 63rd minute goal was all Jigawa Golden Stars needed to pip Nasarawa United by a lone goal. The Badaru Boys are not doing bad at all with 5 wins, a draw and 5 defeats in the top flight FC Ifeanyi Ubah recorded their biggest win of the season, pumping Kastina United 3-0. Brace from Emmanuel Uchegbu (24’, 59’), and one from Nonso Nzediegwu (48’) put some smiles in the faces of the Anambra Warriors fans. At the end of today Kwara United (21), Enyimba with 2 games in-hand (21), Kano Pillars (20) and Rangers (20) occupies the top four, while Ifeanyi Ubah (12), Plateau United (11), Warri Wolves (9) and Adamawa United (3) are the bottom four teams
