NPFL MD 13 Wrap: Rangers, MFM Win, Plateau United Lose in Katsina

There were seven home wins, one away win and a single draw in the round 13 of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Markurdi based side and 2018 champions, Lobi Stars of Markudi went away to Adamawa United to claim the only away win of the match day.

Ezekiel Tamara's strike five minutes after the break was all the away side needed to go level at the top with Plateau United with 24 points only to be separated on goals difference.

Pleateu United on the other hand lost away to Katsina United, Joseph Atule's 13th minute strike was all that mattered to condemn the 2017 Champions to yet another defeat.

In Lagos, MFM overcame a stubborn Dakkada FC with another 1-0 win as Nnamdi Mejuobi's 47 minute strike broke the heart of the high flying Akwa ibom side.

Dakkada's sister team, Akwa United got a win at home against Wikki Tourist beating the Bauchi side by a Lone goal through Friday Ubong's first half strike.

Rivers United beat Nasarawa United by a lone goal while Enugu Rangers beat Ifeanyi Ubah by 3-1, Sunshine Stars of Akure were 2-0 winners over Jigawa Golden stars.

Warri Wolves beat Heartland by 1-0 and In Abia, Abia Warriors drew with Mano Pillars in a drab 0-0 draw.

On the log, Plateau United, Lobi Stars and Rivers United occupy the top three with 24 points each in that order.
