  NPFL MD 19 Wrap: Kwara, Pillars Maintain Top Spots As Sunshine Stars Continue Winless Streak By Omolagba Oluwayemi With a goalless draw at the Soccer Temple Agege Lagos against Akwa United yesterday, Sunshine Stars have now gone 12 games without a win in the NPFL this season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Owena Waves are yet to record any victory since 31st of January which was a 3-1 win against Rangers Int'l at the Akure Township Stadium and things could get worse for the Akure Gunners who are set to visit Uyo for their next league encounter with Akwa United before hosting Jigawa Golden Stars at the Soccer Temple Agege Lagos. Dakkada FC put up a unique performance to beat Rivers United 4-2 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo. Emmanuel Charles put Dakkada ahead in the 23rd minute but a quick fire brace from Nelson Esor (39', 44') send Rivers United with less than a minute into the break but Musa Basiru draw the home side level with the last kick of the first half. Three minutes after the hour mark, Basiru put Dakkada into the lead with his second of the evening before Christian Ekong's 76th minute goal sealed the win for Dakkada. At the Soccer Temple Agege Lagos, FC Ifeanyi Ubah picked up a valuable point playing a 1-1 draw with MFM FC. Lukman Aliu of FCIU in the 61st minute cancelled out Zacharia's 35th minute opener for the Olukoya Boys. In Bauchi, a Manu Garba's brace (3', 29') and one from Stephen Chukwudi (72')was enough for Wikki Tourist to see off a stubborn Kastina United 3-1. Kastina goal was as an equaliser in the 21st minute by Joseph Atule. A 65th minute penalty goal by Rabiu Ali helped Kano Pillars edge out Warri Wolves 1-0, as Kwara United despatched Nasarawa United 2-0 to remain joint top with Kano Pillars. In the last match of the day, Chinonso Okonkwo's (51', 56') second half brace for Lobi Stars cancelled out Ibrahim Umar's (21') first half goal for Jigawa Golden Stars. Kwara United and Kano Pillars leads the log with 36 points but with Enyimba in 5th on 30 points and 4 games in hand, no doubt we've got a long season to go
