NPFL MD 20: MFM FC Condemns FC Ifeanyi To The Bottom In Reschedule Fixture By Omolagba Oluwayemi MFM FC defeated FC Ifeanyi Ubah in the rescheduled match day 20 fixture of the 2020/21 NPFL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The match was initially awarded to MFM FC (three points and three goals) when FC Ifeanyi Ubah failed to turn up for the game at the Cathedral stadium which was their home ground then after they were banished there from their Nnewi home ground for fans violence but an appeal which they won resulted in a replay which they eventually lost to the Lagos based side. FC Ifeanyi Ubah remained glued to the relegation zone after the deafeat while MFM FC remained 11th on the log. The NPFL continues on Sunday with Akwa United set to be crowned the league champions when they host MFM FC at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium. A point in the game will be enough for the Promise Keepers to win their first ever NPFL title. FC Ifeanyi will continue their quest for survival when they visit Jigawa Golden Stars.
