The Church Boys has been having it tough since the start of the season and has suffered 3 home defeats in the league which plunged them into the relegation zone. Just before the start of their matchday 11 against champions Akwa United, Dr Olukoya announced the sacking of the entire technical crew of the team. Apart from sacking the technical crew, the club board was also dissolved to the absolute surprise of their fans and supporters. The General Overseer is expected to name a new board that will take charge of the team before their next game in the league.
