it was a day to forget for Akwa United as they were well beaten in the Nigeria professional league match played at the Soccer Temple at Agege in Lagos on Friday.

The Promise Keeper recorded their first win last week against Adamawa United while MFM FC lost to Katsina United.

it was Clement Ogwu who netted the first goal from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute and ensured that the Olukoya Boys are in front going into the locker room.

The Olukoya boys showed that they were the better side in the second stanza as they continued to dominate the proceedings.

Their efforts paid off later in the game as Balogun fired brace in the 74th and 83rd minute to seal the win for the hosts.
