MFM maintained top position in the Group A of the Nigeria Professional Football League following a 2-0 home win against Bendel Insurance at the Agege Stadium, BSNSports reports. Abisoye Olawale and Michael Ohanu got the goals for the Olukoya Boys in the thrilling encounter. Fidelis Ikechukwu ‘ s men also maintained top spot in the log with 21 points from ten matches. Enyimba stay in second position in the group after playing goalless draw with hosts Sunshine Stars 0-0 in Akure. Wikki Tourists pip Rivers United 2-0 through goals from Abba Umar and Isa Gata. It was the same story in Kastina where Kastina United who pipped Kwara United 2-0. Destiny Ashadi and Martins Usule were both on target for the Changji Boys in the game. In Nnewi, FC IfeanyiUbah maintained first position with a hard fought 1-0 win against Kano Pillars. Uche Ihuarulam shot in the winning goal for Anambra Warriors in the 66th minute. In another match day 11 encounter, Akwa United secure 2-1 away win against Heartland at the Okigwe Township Stadium. Ndifreke Effiong put the promise keepers upfront in the fourth minute. Chijoke Ajoku restore parity for Heartland three minutes before the half hour mark, while Mfon Udoh seal off the winning goal in the 72nd minute.
