NPFL: Niger Tornadoes get interim coach

Following the resignation of their former coach Bernard Ogbe, commissioner for sports and development in Niger state Honourable Emmanuel Duza Babur has approved coach Azeez as the team interim coach.

Tornadoes has been going through turbulent period since the start of the 2018/19 Nigeria professional Football League season which piled pressure on Ogbe till he choose to resigned his appointment.

The Honourable commissioner approved the interim appointment of the coach after the team management held a combined meeting with Ministry management.

The first assignment of the new interim coach will be against Sunshine Stars of Akure at home on Wednesday.

Coach Azeez will have sole responsibility of ensuring the club safety from relegation.

Coach Azeez will be assisted by Atuga Ndanusa as Chief coach, Isaiah and Sule Garuba (coaches)
