NPFL: Ogunbote Rues Missed Chances Sampson Adedeji Head coach of the newly-promoted side Remo Stars, Gbenga Ogunbote has said that his players failed to take their chances especially in the first half, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Sky Blue boys failed to secure maximum point against Nasarawa United at home in Ikenne, despite winning the first two matches of the season. While reacting to the outcome of the game, Ogunbote refused to blame the players but said the game is a wake up call for the team. "It was a tough match, I think the game has welcomed us to the premiership . I'm happy it has happened early enough so that we can see where to work on. "If you look at the game, I won't want to blame my wards but honestly we lost the game in the first half, we have a chance to score many goals but anxiety and the rest denied us. "I think they (Nasarawa United) played dirty, it was a game plan and like i said we are young in the league, we begin to learn match per match we improve and see how we can handle a lot of situations in the game," he said.
