NPFL:
By Sampson Adedeji Despite having a dwindling performance in the ongoing season, skipper of Enyimba international Austin Oladapo has remained optimistic on the team,BSNSports.com.ng reports. Since the start of the CAF inter-club competitions, People Elephant has been struggling, defeated Rahimo FC of Burkinafaso in the preliminary round of the CAF champions league but crashed out to Al Mereikh of Sudan in the first round. The team is also not having it easy on the domestic scene, suffering a 2-0 defeat to winless Heartland FC in the match 4 of the league. But Oladapo maintained that the club will turn the situation around very soon and found it consistency. “I am very confident about the team. I know we have a very good squad, we have very good and young players. “My only worry is that we should get it right on time so that it doesn’t start affecting them. For me as the captain of the team, I’ve seen this kind of situation over and over since I came to Enyimba and how we overcame it. “But with these younger players we we need to get it right before it starts choking them and they start feeling depressed. I’m sure we’ll get it right," he told the club media.
