Olorunleke Ojo says his move to Abia Warriors is to achieve honours and greatness with the club.

“I am in Abia Warriors to achieve greatness, greatness as many as they come. I am very positive that things are going to come good”.

Continuing, the former junior international goalkeeper said he decided for the Umuahia Warriors because of the pedigree of their new coach Imama Amapakabo, whom he believed has all it takes to achieve greatness with the club in all ramifications.

The former Akwa United goalkeeper said the Umuahia-based Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, whom he teamed up with, from Sunshine Stars has all it takes to take the next football season by a storm.

The former Eagles, goalkeeper further disclosed that former Super Eagles assistant coach Amapakabo, who won the NPFL with Rangers in 2016, was one of the main reason he decided to shift base to Umuahia.

“To be frank with you, my coming here (Abia Warriors) is more encouraged with the coming of Imama (Amapakabo),”

Ojo, who once played for the now-defunct Giwa FC, was an integral part of the Akwa United side that won the 2017 AITEO Cup.
