  NPFL: Plateau United Crisis Deepens By Sampson Adedeji According to the reports coming from the camp of Nigeria Professional Football League club, Plateau United, seems all is not well in the camp of the NPFL champions, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Plateau United who top the league table last season suffered a shocking 0-2 home loss to Kwara United in the match day of the league that kicked off on Sunday. The team had earlier in the month crashed out of the CAF Champions league against Simba SC of Tanzania at the preliminary round. The reports has it that the job of the team head coach, Abdul Maikaba is on the line after seven key players of the team were given one week break prior to Christmas without the knowledge of the team General Manager, Pius Henwan. Seven key players missed the Kwara United game and the General Manager has said players will be placed on half salaries while some will be allowed to leave the team. This follows the recent poor form of the league champions.
