  NPFL: Plateau United Ends Nasarawa United Unbeaten Run By Sampson Adedeji After playing invincible since the commencement of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Nasarawa United were finally brought down to earth by Plateau United, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nasarawa United were the only team that yet to taste defeat in the league which also gave them the opportunity to be on top of the table. Match day 7 of the league started on Friday at the new Jos stadium and it was hosts Plateau United who carried the day through 36th minute strike from Mohammed Zulkifilu. The game started with host dominating the game and their efforts almost paid off in the 12th minute through Abba Umar but goalkeeper Danladi Umar of Nasarawa United was up to the task. Zuikifilu header in the 36th minute decided the game and effort of Nasarawa United Players to level the game proved abortive. Despite the defeat Nasarawa United remained on top of the table with 14 points until Rivers United and other play their matches.
