  NPFL: Plateau United Hold Katsina United By Sampson Adedeji Action resumed in the match day 6 of the Nigeria Professional Football League as Katsina United played host to Plateau United at Muhhamadu Dikko Stadium, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The game commenced with the away team dominating the match but it was Katsina United through Raheed Ahmed that got the first chance but blew it wide. First half ended with no goal but Plateau United made double substitutions going into the second half. Abba Umar and Wasiu Jimoh made way for the duo of Mohammed Zulkifilu and Akila Jesse, while Katsina United introduced Samuel Kalu for Mostapha Mohammed. Former Kano Pillars striker Mohammed Gambo was also introduced later in the game to break the backline of the away side . But all the efforts proved futile as the game ended in a goalless. After losing the open matches, Plateau United has continue to improve in their performance, securing favourable result.
