Sampson Adedeji
Assistant coach of Enugu Rangers, Mbwas Mangut has expressed his happiness over the result they secured against Nasarawa United despite lapses that occurred in the match, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Christian Nnaji 61st minute strike ensured that the Flying Antelopes secured maximum points against the Solid Miners.
During a post-match conference, Mangut said Nasarawa United forced them to play their pattern, especially in the first half but they were able to revert to their pattern in the second half and got the needed goal.
" What is important to us is the maximum which we can secure despite the lapses up and down in the game we were able to the points.
"We started the game in the right way but at some point, they mounted some pressure, they started kicking long balls and our boys also start playing the same way which make the game difficult for us.
"In the second half, we were able to settle down and play our game, you will also notice that we were a bit slow in our transition today but we were able to get the goal in the end.
"Every game is tough but playing Rivers United will be a tough game and we will approach it with every strength we have because we knew they are also in contention in their position."
We think that with what we are doing we are going to get it right," he said.
