Nigeria's Aiteo Federation Cup champion, Enugu Rangers continued its fine form in both the league and continental scene.

The Flying Antelope on Wednesday recorded the second win on the bounce in the league as they pipped Niger Tornadoes 1-0.

Bright Silas was the hero of the day as he netted the only goal of the game in the 36th minutes of the encounter.

With an eye in the match day one of the group stage of CAF confederation Cup on Sunday, Rangers coach Gbenga Ogunbote tried to rotate his squad by starting Ajani Ibrahim on the bench.

Niger Tornadoes tried to make a statements in the game but Rangers was able to put the game under their control and ensures maximum 3 points.
