NPFL: Rangers Rest Jersey Number 15 In Of Late Ifeanyi George

As sign of honour, Nigeria Professional Football League Club Enugu Rangers has decided to rest club jersey number 15 wore by late Ifeanyi George for next season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The diminutive forward died from a ghastly motor accident last year, which shocked the entire football family in the country.

The chairman of the club Davidson Owumi confirmed the jersey 15 will be rested for the whole of next season.

"We came to a conclusion to rest the jersey number worn by our late attacker, Ifeanyi George, for the whole of next season as a mark of respect and honour for his services to the club.," he said.

The club will also pay N20 million insurance benefit of the player to his family on July 21st in Enugu
