NPFL: Rangers Set For Nssuka Relocation As Renovation Works Commence On Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium

Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL side, Enugu Rangers is set to relocate to the newly constructed Nssuka Township stadium due to the renovation works on the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, BSNSports.com.ng gathered. The Flying Antelope will have to settle down in Nssuka for their home games as the 2021/2022 NPFL season is set to kick off on December 17th. The Enugu State Governor on Wednesday, inspected the ongoing comprehensive overhaul of the pitch of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, a project to bring the stadium at par with international standard. Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration recently awarded the contract for the upgrade of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium’s pitch with the installation of state-of-the-art turf in line with the requirements of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Licensing Regulation on sports infrastructure and facilities.
