NPFL: Rivers United Suspend Afelokhai, Anaemena

Nigeria Professional Football League Club Rivers United, have announced the suspension of two of its players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Despite starting the season on a strong note, the club has hit a rough patches in recent time having lost out of the CAF Confederation Cup to rival Enyimba international.
The team again lost 3-0 to Akwa United in the match day 13 of the professional football league.
The general manager of the Club, Okey Kpalukwu, on Monday announced the suspension of goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai and defender Ifeanyi Anaemena.
According to the manager, the two players were suspended due to unethical and unprofessional conduct exhibited by both of them.
It means both players will be absent when Rivers United travel to Jos for a date with Plateau United.
