Two away wins were recorded in nine games that went down in different match venues in the Nigeria Professional Football League match-day 8 played across the country, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Heartland FC of Owerri welcomed Kwara United in their first NPFL match after switching to the elite league status. Kwara United bought over Delta Force's NPFL space and started their league campaign on a losing note in front of their fans. Christian Pyagbara scored the solitary goal from the spot in the 60th minute after a 0-0 half time scores. shocked the league champions, Enyimba International 2-1. Utibe Arit double in between 18 minutes was enough for the homers to claim the three points. Utibe had put the hosts ahead in the 75th minute but Victor Mbaoma brought the game to parity ten minutes later. However, Utibe's second goal was all Dakkada needed to put smiles on tge faces of the home fans.

Sunshine Stars picked three maximum points on the road as they pummeled Adamawa United 3-0. Israel Abia who netted hat trick las weekend put Owena Whales ahead in the 45th minute before Timileyin Ogunniyi and Sadiq Yusuf 75th and 89th minutes goals completed the rout.

In Port Harcourt, ten-man Rivers United defeated Katsina United 2-0 as Stephen Michael 6th minute opener and Ishaq Rafiu 75th second goal was enough for the homers to pick the maximum points at home.
