Reigning Aiteo Cup champions, Enugu Rangers redeemed their way back from their midweek 1-0 loss
away to MFM to beat Enyimba of Aba in ongoing NPFL Match day 5 at the The Cathedral, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ibrahim Ajani struck in the 40th minute, connecting from
Ifeanyi George’s cross to seal a win for Flying Antelopes in the Oriental Derby clash.

In Bauchi, Sunshine Stars recorded their first win of the season defeating Wikki Tourist 1-0.

Chibundu Amah bundled home a rebound after Sunday Abe’s spot kick was saved by Wikki Tourists goalkeeper Ibrahim.

In other match, Lobi Stars were the biggest winners in match day 5 when a first half blitz saw them thumping Kwara United 3-0 in Makurdi.

Michael Stephen scored in the 10th minute before Yaya Kone struck in the 29th and 34th minute to put the game beyond reach for Kwara United.

Remo Stars had a convincing 2-0 win over Katsina United. The Chanji Boys handed Super Eagles’ keeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa his debut with the club, but he failed to keep a clean sheet.

Victor Mbaoma and Kingsley Akemini with the goals for the Sky Blues.

High flying Ifeanyi Ubah edged Kada City 1-0 to move up top in Group B.

Chibuike Eze’s 62nd minute goal gave the Anambra Warriors the maximum three points over NPFL debutants Kada City.

In Port Harcourt, Rivers United pipped MFM 1-0, courtesy of Austin Opara’s own goal in the 59th minutes.

Yobe Desert Stars got the better of Heartland FC with a 1-0 win courtesy of a 65th minute goal from James Odeh. It is the first home game for the Damaturu-based side, who grabbed their first win after an away loss
to FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

Gombe United and Abia Warriors both settled for a goalless draw in Pantami, while Plateau United and Kano Pillars shared the spoils playing out a goalless draw.

Two matches will hold today evening in conclusion of Match Day 5, when Go-Round will entertain El-Kanemi Warriors, as Nasarawa United will sequel up against Akwa United.
