Super Eagles forward Skiru Alimi has penned a season deal with 2017 Nigeria Professional Football League champions Plateau United after ending his contract with Tunisian by mutual consent as a free agent, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Alimi has joined players like Stephen Eze of Kano Pillars, Azeez Shobowale of Lobi stars who has return to the league that brought them to limelight. In 2018, he joined Tunisian outfit Stade Tunisien on a one year contract before securing a three contract with a Magreb de Fes in 2020. Alimi joined Lobi Stars in 2017 from Sunshine Stars and featured in African Cup of Nations Championship, before moving to Tunisian outfit Stade Tunisian. Alimi is being as one of the deadlinest forward in the Nigeria Professional Football League The 1.89m lanky centre forward as has stint with some NPFL clubs such as Warri Wolves, Sunshine Stars, First Bank, Lobi Stars, before joining Tunisian Ligue one outfit Stade Tunisien.
