Just like the Akwa United look to be running away with the 2021 NPFL title, Silas Nwankwo of Nasarawa United looks to be on the run with the highest goal-scorer award as he comfortably sits on the top, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
With 18 goals after 35 round of matches, the rejected former Sunshine Stars striker is three goals ahead of his closest rival, Charles Atshimene of Akwa United.
Next to them is Rabiu Ali who is on 14 goals although most of his goals this term have been from the penalty spot, Pele as popularly known in Kano can still give it a push in the final three games of the season.
