  NPFL: Sunday Adetunji To Join Rivers United By Sampson Adedeji In its quest to have a good ending in the Nigeria Professional Football League season, Rivers United seems to have acquired the services of Sunday Adetunji, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The lanky striker left Plateau United in the new season on a mutual consent and has been without a club since then. He featured in the early round of the CAF champions league where they succumbed to Simba SC of Tanzania. Rivers United on its part have a splendid beginning earlier in the season shunning out good performance both in the CAF COnfederation cup and domestic scene. The Pride of Rivers dropped form recently which has had adverse effect on the team both in the league and continent. Acquisition of Adetunji will surely improve the attacking prowess of the team with Godwin Aguda and Fortune Omoniwari already in the team.
