NPFL; Sunshine Stars Working Hard For Maximum Points Against Wikki Tourists Says Cooper

Sunshine Stars midfielder Ikenna Cooper is optimistic about today's game against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
The Owenna Gunners who have been impressive at home this season, having won five of their last six home games will be facing Wikki Tourists in a rescheduled fixture of the NPFL at the Dipo Dina Stadium Ijebu Ode today by 4pm.
According to Ikenna, he said the team is working hard to earn maximum point against Wikki.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate the players for the hard work they have been putting in every game, and we know the importance of tomorrow's game.
Winning that game for me would take us to a higher position in the league and we will try to put our best to get the maximum three-point from the game."
The skillful midfielder also added that today's victory will move the club to a better position.
"We aim higher but at least we are satisfied with where we are at the moment and very soon, we will get to a position where we deserve to be because we deserve to be in a higher position in the league if not for some incidents of poor officiating. There are some matches we could have won away but we drew some and we lost some."
He further added that; "We still have a lot of points to gather from the remaining matches in the league and we will get to where we need to be."
