NPFL Super 6: Enyimba shoot down Lobi Stars

Enyimba International recovered from a shocking 2-1 defeat to Kano Pillars in the match day 2 of the NPFL Super 6 and secured a 3-1 win over defending champion Lobi Stars.

In a match keenly contested at the Soccer Temple in Agege Stadium, the Peoples Elephant dominated the game and it paid off as they outscored Lobi Stars of Makurdi 2-1 to earn their second win in three matches.

Two quick consecutive goals in the 39th and 40th minute from Abdularahman Bashir and Stanley Dimgba put Enyimba in the driving seat.

Former El Kanemi Warrior forward Mattias Samuel halved the deficit in the 45th minute of the game.

Dimgba completed his brace in the 67th minute of the encounter and ensured that Enyimba secured a comfortable 3 points.

Aba based club now has 6 points from 3 matches.
