NPFL title still very much open, Mehmet Tayfun insists

Head Coach of NPFL club side, Heartland FC, Mehmet Tayfun, has not ruled out his lads from topping the league of Pool with 19 games to go, the league is still very much open for all 12 teams.

“The season is not over yet, I believe it’s too early to start saying who can win the
league or who be relegated because there are still 19 matches to be played and anything can happen before then".

The Turkish tactician who spoke to BSNSports, further praised his boys for playing to instructions and being more clinical in front of goal in Lafia.

“It was a very good game for having a victory in Lafia. We studied the clips of their matches and worked on their lapses and technical know how, and I’m happy we were able to secure all three points,” Mehmet said.

The Maze Millionaires will entertain Go-Round FC of Portharcourt in NPFL Match day 4 at Okigwe Stadium.
