“I am surprised to see this report. My loan contract with Akwa United has expired. I do not know where the report that I was sacked for being part of a protest is coming from without any verification just to label me black.”
My relationship with Akwa United has been intact and I was duly communicated about my contract situation by the club in writing four days ago. I don’t want to dwell much on that.
I am looking forward to a new chapter of my career and I thank Akwa United for the many opportunities I have had at the club," he said.
