NPFL: We Are Playing Under Pressure - Katsina United Technical Adviser
Sampson Adedeji
Technical Adviser of Nigeria Professional Football League side Katsina United Audu Mohd Azeez had promised fans and supporters of the club to expect good results from the team the moment they overcome their pressure, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Katsina United started the season on a shaky note but has started picking up gradually.
They secured a valuable maximum point against Kwara United on Saturday in the matchday 12 of the league with Nafiu Ibrahim scoring the only goal in the 65th minute.
While speaking after the match, the coach said the players are playing under pressure due to the position of the club on the league table but believed that the story will soon change.
"The first assignment is to get the maximum point and then goals, but I think the players are playing under pressure because of the position of the team.
"You can't play under pressure and get goals, the pressure is still on because they don't want the team to go down like last season.
"The players are also getting used to themselves, you can't expect everything to be settled at the same time.
"When we get used to each other, we start getting the points, move to a good position and then we talk about the goals."
"The players played better today, they took their chances and they were determined.
"I advise our fans to pray for the team and be more patient," he said.
