NPFL; We Move To The Next Game Says Ayeni

NPFL;
NPFL; We Move To The Next Game Says Ayeni By Oluwaferanmi Omoniyi Sunshine Stars of Akure coach, Ayodeji Ayeni has said his boys won't relent in earning points. Ayeni made this known after the 1-1 draw against Nasarawa United at Lafia on Sunday. The tactician expressed that they approached Sunday's game differently unlike the usual style of play. "Well, I use to say that it is different matches with different approaches, we played Eyinmba at home, not that we played a really bad game but i think it was luck that wasn’t on our side, luck ran against us that day so we had to sit down and re-strategize. If Eyinmba can come to our backyard and get the maximum points, nothing is stopping us from getting our three points too. And you can see, we almost got the three points because the second goal to me is a fantastic goal but since it was awarded, we leave as human error. So that is that about it, we needed to approach the game early and get our goals so that we can put them into serious imbalances and it really worked. I'm thankful that the boys played according to instructions." Meanwhile, Ayeni added that; "Nasarawa United have been a fantastic team, everybody knows them, their pedigree and their antecedents in Nigeria football and the present coach of the team is a very experienced manager which I really respect a lot so I expected this kind of football. By and large, if the officiating in the league continues in a positive way, I think Nigeria football will get better." "The next focus is on our next game against Niger Tornadoes and my own way of life is that I believe when I get to the river, I will know how to cross it. I know very well that they have a very good coach and a lot of talents too." He concluded. Sunshine sits in the 13th position with 14 points.
