NPFL: We Need To Work On Our Goalscoring - Akwa United Coach
Sampson Adedeji
The coach of Nigeria Professional Football League champion Akwa United Kennedy Boboye has said they needed to improve their scoring ability, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The Promise Keeper wasted numerous scoring changes in their matchday 11 games against MFM FC of Lagos played at the Teslim Balogun stadium.
Boboye said they missed an opportunity to win the game after his attackers failed to convert the chances that comes their way.
"Converting opportunities has been our problem this season. We created enough to win this match but we somehow did not finish well.
“It is something that we have to work on but I guess the problem of scoring is not peculiar to Akwa United, it is a general Nigeria league problem.
“We will have to go back and work harder. This is a missed opportunity but we will go back and work harder," he told LMC media.
