The former head coach of Kwara United was appointed as one of the gaffers to strengthen the technical department of the club going into the new season. Reacting to his appointment, Unuanel recognized the history of the club and promised to return the club back to its glory days. "I want to assure the management and fans of Kano Pillars that we will not let them down in the new season. And as a club with rich history and culture,we will create more leverage for the brand with resounding results all through the season" says Unuanel.
