NSF 2020: Minister of Sports To Inspect Facilities in Edo State Next Wednesday

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare will on Wednesday visit Edo state, the hosts, 2020 National Sports Festival to inspect and ascertain the level of readiness of the state in hosting the national event, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Dare made this known on Saturday in Ilorin, Kwara state, adding that the ministry will be glad to see budding talents at the competition who can be nurtured for global competitions
In his words, "The ministry is ready for one of the best National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State. In the next four days, I will be going to Benin to inspect all the facilitie and we hope to see every single state compete in events." Dare told BSNSports.com.ng
"Furthermore, my joy will be to see that from NSF we can have new budding talents that we can harvest and feed them as federations and nurture them for global competition.
The minister believed Nigeria have one of the best track and field athletes in the world.
"What happened yesterday (Friday) with Tobi Amusan who is now globally seeded among the best rated athletes in the world. This is a good sign that we are getting to the top." He concluded
"We have Ese Brume, Blessing Okagbare, Divine Oduduru amd host of ootgers. This country has one of the best athletic team about the 3rd or 4th in the world. We were second before now and we are still trying to reenact where were before in relay and we are ready for the Olympics."
