As the World celebrates Christmas on Tuesday, the President, Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa Nimrod has congratulated Christians, particularly his board members, officials, coaches, players and media who stood by him to achieve the unprecedented feat less than two years in office.

Nimrod whose message was contained in a statement made available to www.bsnsports.com.ng enjoined all Nigerians to always imbibe and walk in the reason Jesus Christ was born to mankind.

The NVBF President noted that Christmas is not only demonstrated in form of celebration, further hinted that times like this demands reflection in our day-to-to activities especially as it concerns individuals’ relationship with each other.

His word: “I see Christmas as a solemn moment, when we need to reflect and re-appraise our relationship with God and our fellow Human. Jesus Christ who we are celebrating brought joy and peace to the whole world.

“While he was still on earth, he taught us to always tolerate each other in all our dealings. I enjoin us to use this holy moment to pray for each other and commit proceedings in our association to God Almighty.”

He, however, used the opportunity to re-affirm the commitment of NVBF leadership in making the federation a rallying point for members, coaches, and players at all time.
