  NVBF Technical Committee Announces Final List For African Nations Cup By Editor The technical committee of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation on Sunday announced the final team lists of the U-18 female and U-19 male national teams that will participate at the forthcoming Africa Nations Championship between 1st and 9th of March in Abuja. In the U-18 female national team, 14 players were able to make the final list, they are; 1. Gift Michael - 9 2. Fatima Temitope - 2 3. Mariam Usman - 1 4. Faith Okewu - 20 5. Christine Paul - 6 6. Blessing Unekwe - 3 7. Mary Gana - 5 8. Cynthia Dakaan - 14 9. Faith Wakili - 17 10. Kelichi Ndukauba - 13 11. Sofiat Omoshola - 8 12. Aishat Abdulraheem - 4 13. Peace Ajayi - 18 14. Maryam Ibrahim - 17 Coach Elam Elishama - Head Coach Coach Rakiya Mohammed - Ass Coach Coach Segun Abinde - Asst Coach In the U-19 male national team, 14 players also made the final list: 1. Jaoyeola Abdulquadri - 15 2. Lawal Azeez Babatunde - 1 3. John Solomon - 6 4. Jerry B Kinze - 5 5. Vincent Mathias - 13 6. Oyedepo D. Oyewale - 7 7. Lanre Ogunboyejo - 2 8. Michael Abari - 11 9. Patrick Anthony - 4 10. Paul Ogwulumba - 9 11. Timothy Ogwulumba - 12 12. Pascal Ozokoye - 19 13. Lucky O. Faruk - 8 14. Alexander Jeremiah - 16 Coach Sani Mohammed - Head Coach Coach Adekalu Adeniyi - Asst Coach The chairman of the technical committee, Martin Melandi congratulated the players charging them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria and advised those that could not make the team not to relent and work harder to make it when another opportunity arises. The two teams are expected to resume the last phase camping in Abuja this week. Meanwhile, stakeholders have continued to contribute in cash and kind to make the Federation organise a successful tournament and to encourage the Nigeria's representatives to do the nation proud at the continental championship in Abuja, Nigeria.
