Nwakaeme netted again for Trabzonspor By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme continued to make headlines in Turkey Super League with a distinctive performance for Trabzonspor. The skillful forward who netted a brace last weekend was the hero again on Saturday as he hit the target again in Trabzonspor 2-1 win over Akhisaspor. After a goalless first stanza, Nwakaeme leveled the game for Trabzonspor in the 70th minutes after Jeremy Bokila gave the away side a lead in the 65th minutes. Jose Sousa scored the winning goal from the spot in the 76th minutes to ensured Trabzonspor recorded maximum 3 points. Nwakaeme has now netted 3 goals for Trabzonspor in the last 2 matches. The win helped Trabzonspor to garner 40 points in 25 matches and are the 4th position. Anthony Nwakaeme was left out of the 23-man squad released by Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr in their African Nations Cup qualifier dead rubber game against Seychelles and an international friendly match against Egypt few days later.
