Nwankwo signs contract extension with Crotone

Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Simon Nwankwo has signed 3 year contract extension with Italian Serie B side Crotone.
The lanky striker joined Crotone in 2016 from Portuguese side Gil Vincente and has since went on to score 24 league goals for the club.
The Nigeria international revealed his excitement on hi after the new was agreed.
“I am very happy to be able to continue my story with this shirt. In Crotone I grew up both as a man and as a footballer and I also became a dad. I thank the club for the trust it has always placed in me ,”he said.
Nwankwo is yet to make a return to the national team since Russia 2018 World Cup.
