President, Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Hon. Daniel Ighali boosted the morale of World Number 1 Female Wrestler in 57kg category, Odunayo Adekuoroye with cash gifts, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The excited world number 1 wrestler on her official Facebook page thanked the president of the federation for the gift and described it as a morale booster to continuing to work harder to achieve more glories in the future.

"The gift (cash) means so much to me, it shows that you have faith in my abilities and have confident in my development as an athlete under your watch. I look forward to continuing to work hard and improve more under your leadership Sir and I promise to make you proud….Thanks again for the gift🙏🏻🙏🏻." She wrote on her Facebook page.

Adekuoroye on February 19th, 2020 was adopted by Halogen Nigeria Ltd. following the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare's adopt-an-athlete initiative.

Halogen completed the adoption process and handed $10,000 to Adeoye Adekuoroye.
