NWFL: Edo Queens Appoints New Head Coach By Sampson Adedeji In order to commence preparations in earnest ahead of the new season of Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Edo Queens have secured the services of a new head coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The team management on Thursday announced Super Falcons Assistant coach, Wemimo Mathew, as the club new head coach. Wemimo was a former coach of Sunshine Queens and guided the team to 6th place finish in the last Super 6 play-off held at Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The energetic coach possessed CAF A license and has been with Sunshine Queens since 2018/2019 season when she guided them to a 4th place finish. The coach immediate task is to ensure that Edo Queens which finished bottom of the Super 6 play-off table perform well in the 2021/2022 league season and cup game.
