NWFL Super 4: Bayelsa Queen emerge champion

Bayelsa Queen on Sunday emerged the champions of Nigeria Women Football League Super 4 played at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

In a keenly contested encounter, Bayelsa Queen defeated Nasarawa Amazon 2-0.

It was Junior international Izoamaka igwe that opened the scorers chat in the 51st minutes after a scoreless first stanza.

As the Nasarawa ladies are fighting to bounce back Joy Bokiri doubled the lead in the 54th minutes of the encounter.

Despites, pressure from Nasarawa, Bayelsa defenders were able to nullified all threats thrown at them ensure victory for the team.

With the win, Bayelsa Queen has succeeded in lifting Women League 5 times.
