  NWFL Super Six: Rivers Angels Pummel Edo Queens As FC Robo Lose First Match By Omolagba Oluwayemi The match-day 5 of the ongoing NWFL Super Six in Ijebu Ode produced some amazing results, throwing the tournament opened as we go into the final match day, BSNSports.com.ng reports. In the first match of the day, whipping girls Edo Queens fell to league defending champions, Rivers Angels 4-0. Vivian Ikechukwu, Alice Ogebe and a brace from Oghenebrume Ikehua sent the Angels top of the standings with 8 points same as second place Delta Queens but with a better goal difference. Delta Queens meanwhile missed the chance to go top when they were held to a goalless draw by Bayelsa Queens. The draw meant they are only below Rivers Angels because of an inferior goal difference. And in the final match of the day, Idoko Mercy was the heroin as Sunshine Stars inflicted the first loss of the campaign on FC Robo. The win throws the group open as we approach the final match day. After five rounds of games, Rivers Angels leads with 8 points closely followed by Delta Queens with 8 points as well. FC Robo and Sunshine Queens are third and fourth with 7 points respectively while Bayelsa and Edo Queens occupy the fifth and sixth place with 2 and 0 points respectively. All first four teams are still in contention for the title but with the contenders set to clash against each other on Sunday, we're about to witness the best of Nigeria Women League football.
