Akudo Ogbonna's strike seals Sunshine Queens first Away win in Kaduna

Sunshine Queens Fc of Akure yesterday picked maximum points away from home in an Elite league tie played at the Kaduna township stadium against debutant, Kaduna Queens.
Patricia Innocent scored first for the Ondo state sponsored side in the 44th minute to give Sunshine Queens the deserved lead but the lead lasted few minutes as Kaduna Queens Equalised via a spot kick to end the first half 1-1
On Resumption into the second half Sunshine Queens intensified efforts in search of a winner which never came until the 79th minute when Akudo Ogbonna superbly slotted home to send Sunshine Queens technical bench into a wild jubilation.
With few minutes left, the home team mounted pressure on the visitors but were denied an equaliser as Sunshine Queens defence line exhibited experience and calm in denying Kaduna Queens attackers.
With the result, Sunshine Queens now top group C temporarily with 4 Points from two matches having played a goalless draw at home in their first league game against Nasarawa Amazons.
Kaduna Queens are bottom of the group having failed to pick a point from two matches played so far, losing 3-0 to Bayelsa Queens and 2-1 against Sunshine Queens FC.
Kaduna Queens Head Coach Usman Shuaib in his post match interview commended his players for putting up a good fight against a more experienced Sunshine Queens FC
Its sad we lost at home, but we are taking the positives from the game and we'll start preparing in earnest against our next opponent
Sunshine Queens Team Manager, Mojisola Adekanye who spoke with newsmen attributed the win to hardwork and determination
We had a game plan before we arrived Kaduna, and I'm glad it all worked out as planned, the result is a clear reflection of determination and hardwork
Sunshine Queens next Opponent, Bayelsa Queens will later today play against Nasarawa Amazons at the Lafia city stadium.
