Odogwu U-17 Tournament Gets January 7 kick off Date, As FCT FA Chairman, ECN Global, Success Tiju International Identifies With Tournament

The Local Organizing Committee of the Odogwu U.17 Football Competition has fixed Tuesday 7 January as the kick off date of the tournament holding in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

In the fixtures released on Thursday, the Organizers said the six teams that scaled through the screening has been grouped into two, with two teams emerging to the semi finals which would be played on the 18th and 19th January.

2S Academy will play Real Justice in the opening match, while Babayaro Academy will settle scores with Ejiwumi Dynamics the next day.

Meanwhile, FCT FA Chairman Mouktar Adams has identified with the tournament saying that he will be physically present in the finals to give out the trophies to the winners.

He described the donor of the tournament as a passionate grassroot developer who cannot be ignored at anytime.

Also, two corporate outfits ECN Global International, Osogbo and Success Tiyu, Lokoja have thrown their weights behind the tournament that is been sponsored by Patrick Ngwaogu the Sporting Director of Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia who was the immediate past first Vice Chairman Of FCT FA.
