Odunayo Adekuoroye Ranked 3rd Oborududu 8th In World Wrestling Ranking Series

Blessing Oborududu and Odunayo Adekuoroye who took part in the final world ranking series in Istanbul, Turkey have moved places higher in World Wrestling Ranking series, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The World Wrestling Ranking series which began on Friday saw Adekuoroye won gold medal while Blessing Oborududu won a bronze medal.

Odunayo Adekuoroye (NGR) defeated Ukrainian Kit.T 10-0 in the final to claim the gold medal.

Blessing Oborududu on the other hand defeated another Ukrainian Berezhma Sta 10-0 to win the bronze medal.

By this win, Adekuoroye will be ranked in the top 3 in her weight class having won the German world ranking series and placed 3rd at the Bulgarian ranking tournament earlier this year. Blessing Oborududu will also be placed in the top 8 having won two bronze medals in Germany and Istanbul this year. Building blocks for Tokyo 2020.
